A report out of California has stirred controversy over voter registrations tied to a single business address on Sunset Boulevard, reportedly listing dozens of names, including actress Jennifer Aniston, as reported by Trending Politics News.

According to the Daily Mail, thirty-six individuals, many of them well-known figures, are registered at Suite 600, 9200 Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood.

That location, the report states, is not a residential building. Instead, it serves as the office of Michael Ullman, who heads Platinum Financial Management Inc., described by the outlet as a “money manager to the stars.”

The report claims that several celebrities appear to have used the address as their place of residence, including Aniston, Jenna Dewan, Linda Cardellini, Katheryn Winnick, Nicollette Sheridan, Laura Harrier, Matt Czuchry, Debbie Gibson, and Hamish Linklater.

Under Los Angeles County’s voter registration guidelines, an individual must register at their actual residence, not a business or post office box. County instructions explicitly state, “A person may only register to vote at their place of residence. A business address or a P.O. Box number may only be used as a mailing address.”

Ullman addressed the matter in a statement to the outlet, insisting the celebrities do not live at his office space. “It’s just a mailing address, but it’s not their residential address. So it gets mailed here, but they voted in their area,” he said.

Attorney Amber Hulse of the Dhillon Law Group told the Daily Mail that, while mail can be directed to a business, the law still requires a voter’s true residence to be listed as their domicile.

“You’re allowed to use a mailing address, like a business address or something like that,” Hulse said. “But they still need to provide their residential address as their domicile.”

She added that using a false residence on registration paperwork would be a legal violation if the individual knowingly claimed it as their home.

“If, for example, Jennifer Aniston is using it as her residence, when it is clearly not her residence, then it would be illegal."

Signing a voter registration form involves attesting to the accuracy of the information under penalty of perjury, a point Hulse said could carry serious consequences if misused.

Privacy concerns do not exempt someone from accurately listing their domicile. “People can hide their residential address for privacy concerns, but celebrity is not one of those options,” Hulse explained.

The Daily Mail also noted that this registration pattern dates back years, with the earliest record appearing in 2002 from director Campion Murphy. The outlet said the most recent was Dewan, who reportedly used Ullman’s office address in December 2025.

Aniston’s most recent registration at the address was said to be January 29, 2025. The report also identified her as a Democratic supporter who publicly backed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris during the previous election cycle.

The potential issue extends beyond recordkeeping, because listing the wrong residential address can affect which jurisdiction a voter participates in.

West Hollywood and Los Angeles each have separate local governments, meaning different ballots and elections.

Hulse stressed the importance of that distinction, saying the rule ensures voters help elect representatives for the communities where they actually live.

“The entire point of making people disclose their domicile is so that only people that are actual residents of these political subdivisions are actually voting in the election for people that would represent them,” she said.

She added, “For example, if you live in LA County, you should have no business in electing someone in San Diego County.”

Officials in Los Angeles County said they are currently reviewing the voter records associated with the Sunset Boulevard address.

County spokesman Michael Sanchez confirmed the review and said each registration is processed only when the voter affirms, under penalty of perjury, that the address represents their domicile.

“If a voter attests under penalty of perjury that an address constitutes their residence or domicile, and the registration otherwise meets legal requirements, the registration is processed in accordance with state law,” Sanchez said.

No celebrity named in the report commented to the Daily Mail.

The revelations arrive amid heightened scrutiny of voter integrity in California, adding new tension to a political climate still divided over the accuracy and management of voter rolls.
