In what was supposed to be a shining moment for progressive politics at the Democratic National Convention (DNC), a new initiative by Planned Parenthood took an unexpected turn.
The organization’s latest project, a mobile vasectomy unit named the “Snip and Roll RV,” parked right outside the convention center, offering free vasectomies to Democrat men who wanted to show their commitment to reproductive rights.
However, the initiative didn’t go as planned. Instead of lines of men eager to make their mark (or remove it), hundreds of would-be patients were turned away. The reason? A shocking lack of manhood.

“We expected a large turnout and came prepared for a busy day,” said Dr. Wendy Cutter, the lead physician on the mobile unit.
“But we didn’t expect what we encountered. Time after time, these men just didn’t meet the necessary biological requirements. Frankly, we were at a loss.”
The bizarre turn of events quickly became a spectacle at the convention.
Men exited the RV with red faces and downcast eyes, muttering things like, “It’s just the cold weather” and “I’ll just stick to championing gender-neutral bathrooms.”

Others were seen trying to explain away the situation, claiming they had already undergone the procedure or that they didn’t need one because they were too busy advocating for reproductive rights on Twitter.
One attendee, who asked to remain anonymous, expressed his disappointment: “I really wanted to make a difference, you know? Show that I’m committed to the cause by making sure I’m not part of the problem. But it turns out that nature already did the work for me.”
The incident didn’t take long to make its way to social media, where the hashtags #ManhoodMissing, #SnipSnipFail, and #SoyBoysUnite quickly began trending.
Conservative commentators had a field day with the story, pointing out the irony of men lining up to give up something they seemingly never had in the first place.
“Honestly, is anyone surprised?” one Twitter user commented. “They’ve been metaphorically neutering themselves for years, so this is just the next logical step.”
Planned Parenthood quickly issued a statement acknowledging the “unforeseen challenges” they faced during the day.
“We remain dedicated to providing essential reproductive health services to all individuals, assuming they meet the necessary criteria,” the statement read. The organization promised to review their approach and make adjustments for future events.
The Snip and Roll RV, initially intended to stand as a beacon of the Democratic Party’s commitment to bodily autonomy, has instead become a symbol of the ever-dwindling masculinity within the party.
By the end of the convention, the RV had attracted more attention than many of the speakers inside, with attendees lining up to take selfies with the bus. It became the talk of the convention—albeit for all the wrong reasons.
Reflecting on the day’s events, Dr. Cutter had a sense of humor about the situation.
“Maybe next time, we’ll stick to handing out condoms. At least those don’t require any, well, prerequisites.”
As for the Democrat men who were turned away, many were seen later consoling themselves at local coffee shops, sipping soy lattes and signing up for meditation classes to regain their inner peace.
It’s not easy to face the fact that sometimes, the best intentions fall short—especially when it comes to matters of manhood.
Ultimately, this incident has left many wondering whether the party’s platform is really as strong as they claim or if, perhaps, it’s been lacking in more ways than one for quite some time.
