Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas sparked renewed controversy during her appearance Tuesday on Jimmy Kimmel Live, delivering a profanity-laced rant that criticized President Donald Trump, tech entrepreneur Elon Musk, and Fox News host Pete Hegseth, while also questioning the intelligence of the sitting president, as reported by The Western Journal.

Kimmel introduced Crockett as “a member of Congress who makes a lot of sense to me,” before airing a clip of her reaction to President Trump’s March joint address to Congress.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett was visibly upset that Trump took time to honor Laken Riley and Officer Diller.
“This is not America. This is a terrible nightmare. Somebody slap me and wake me the f*ck up because I’m ready to get on with it.”

In the video, Crockett said, “This is a terrible nightmare, somebody slap me and wake me the f**k up because I’m ready to get on with it,” referring to Trump’s honoring of slain Georgia nursing student Laken Riley and NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller during the address.
After joining Kimmel on stage, the congresswoman initially adopted a measured tone, but shifted sharply when the conversation turned to Elon Musk.

“When you bring up the idiot known as Elon Musk, he is not only, like, very sinister and has no idea what he’s doing,” Crockett said.
“He knows how to hire smart people, but don’t conflate that and believe he is the genius, cause he ain’t.”
Crockett escalated further when discussing President Trump, saying, “The stench [of Musk] ain’t getting off of you [President Donald] Trump, honey, like you are a problem, he is a problem. Pete [Hegseth] is a problem. All of y’all a problem.”
Kimmel, seemingly amused by the outburst, asked Crockett whether she would be willing to take an IQ test against President Trump. “Absolutely,” Crockett responded without hesitation.
