Newly released 911 dispatch audio reveals Denise Richards left her estranged husband Aaron Phypers’ elderly parents fearful after showing up unannounced at their Calabasas home during a dispute over family pets, as reported by TMZ.
The incident, which occurred Sunday, is the latest development in the pair’s ongoing divorce proceedings.
The dispatch audio, obtained by TMZ, includes the call relayed to law enforcement where the dispatcher states that Phypers was concerned for the safety of his parents due to Richards’ unexpected visit.

According to sources close to Phypers, Richards allegedly arrived at the property without prior notice and began banging on the back door, demanding to be allowed inside.
Due to an active restraining order, Phypers had already left the premises before her arrival.
Reports indicate that his parents eventually opened the door for Richards, who then allegedly entered the home, began yelling, pointed her finger in their faces, and became involved in a confrontation with Phypers’ brother.

Photographs taken during the incident show Richards speaking with Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies in the home’s driveway. In another image, Phypers is seen consoling his elderly mother following the encounter.
Richards’ attorney has confirmed that she did not violate the restraining order, stating that she confirmed Phypers was not at the residence before entering.
The attorney also claimed that Richards was there solely to retrieve dogs she believed were inappropriately withheld and that one had been euthanized without her knowledge or consent.
In response, Phypers denied the account provided by Richards’ legal team, including the claim regarding the dog’s euthanization.
Statement from Denise’s lawyer:
“On August 3, 2025, after confirming that Mr. Phypers was not present in her home, Ms. Richards entered the home to retrieve her dogs after learning that Mr. Phypers had put down one of her other dogs without her knowledge or permission.”
