Alexis Gosselin made a rare public appearance in her mother Kate Gosselin’s TikTok video over the weekend, just days after her brother Collin posted an emotional message about being “forced apart” from his siblings, as reported by Page Six.
The video, posted Saturday, showed Kate, 50, preparing lunch for her 12-hour work shift. Alexis, 21, briefly appeared, hugging her mother goodbye before leaving the home. “Ride carefully, and text me when you get there, please,” Kate said in the clip. “Love you,” Alexis replied.

Alexis has largely remained out of the public eye since the end of the family’s reality television run. Based on the video, she appears to still live with her mother, unlike her brother Collin, also 21, who is estranged from both Kate and most of his siblings.
Her last public appearance was in May, when Kate posted photos of Alexis celebrating her 21st birthday alongside three of her sextuplet siblings. Collin and his sister Hannah were notably absent.
On Thursday, Collin posted a two-slide TikTok.
The first slide was a throwback photo of him and all seven siblings with the caption, “Born to be a team, us against the world…”

The second slide showed a current photo of himself with the words, “Forced to do it alone, and wonder every day what our lives could’ve looked like.”

In his caption, Collin wrote:
“Forced apart, pitted against each other. All the fame and money in the world, but what about kids being kids?”
He added that he “will always love” his twin sisters Madelyn and Cara, 24, and fellow sextuplets Alexis, Leah, Hannah, Aaden, and Joel.

“The tears I shed behind closed doors, thinking about the memories we could’ve shared. I love you guys,” he wrote, ending with a heart emoji.
The Gosselin family gained national attention on the TLC reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8, which aired from 2007 to 2009. Kate and Jon Gosselin divorced in 2009, with Kate receiving custody of all eight children. The show later rebranded as Kate Plus 8 from 2015 to 2017.
In 2016, Kate placed Collin in a boarding school for children with behavioral issues. Jon removed him two years later and was granted sole physical custody. Collin and Hannah have since lived with their father, while the other siblings remained with Kate.
Kate has previously cited Collin’s “unpredictable and violent behavior” as the reason for their estrangement, telling People in 2023 that multiple psychiatric diagnoses led to his placement in a facility after years of outpatient treatment.
Collin, however, has accused Kate of abuse, including being confined in a “containment room” in their basement, allegations she has denied.
In March, Collin announced he had started his own power-washing business, nearly a year after revealing he was discharged from the Marines following time in a mental health facility.
