Britney Spears checked herself into a rehabilitation facility on Sunday following a DUI arrest last month, according to her representative, with the development coming shortly after a series of social media posts that drew attention online, as reported by Page Six.
The 44-year-old singer voluntarily entered rehab, her representative confirmed to Page Six. The move follows her arrest on March 4, when authorities reported observing her vehicle swerving between lanes.
During the stop, officers allegedly discovered an unknown substance inside the car, and she was believed to have been under the influence of both alcohol and drugs at the time.
Spears was taken into custody and later released the following morning, according to arrest records from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
In the hours leading up to entering rehab, Spears shared a video on Instagram showing herself dancing in a sheer black thong bodysuit.
In the footage, she performed to Cardi B, J Balvin, and Bad Bunny’s song “I Like It,” wearing a red hat and knee-high black boots.
During the video, Spears held her top as she danced and moved around the room.
At one point, she slapped her butt while turning away from the camera and later removed the red hat, allowing her hair to fall freely as she continued dancing.

The post followed additional recent activity on her social media accounts. On Saturday, Spears shared a separate video in which she dipped her fingers into a bowl of water and flowers, accompanied by the caption “Touch .”
Earlier in the week, she also posted footage of herself dancing in a bright yellow lingerie set paired with a black fedora.

Spears has remained active on social media since the DUI arrest, continuing to share personal content with followers.
In the days after the arrest, she posted photos and videos showing her spending time with her two sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19.
The two sons, whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline, have reportedly offered their support following the arrest, according to a source cited by Page Six.
The sequence of events has drawn public attention as Spears enters treatment while continuing to post frequently online. No additional details about the duration or nature of the rehabilitation program have been released.
Spears has not issued a public statement beyond her social media posts regarding the arrest or her decision to enter rehab.
