The Colorado Republican said she is straight and denied ever having an inappropriate or sexual relationship with a member of her staff.
Boebert, 39, told Sources Say News, “Well, I’m not a lesbian or bisexual, and I have never, ever been in any inappropriate relationship, nor have I ever been sexually involved with any staff.”
Her office also rejected the accusations, declaring, “Congresswoman Lauren Boebert rejects these allegations as utterly false and there is no truth to them whatsoever.”

A spokesperson added, “This is nothing more than a politically motivated stunt designed to manipulate the ethics process, create headlines, smear her, and generate clickbait.”
The allegations came through a sworn ethics complaint from American Muckrakers, a political action committee led by activist David Wheeler.
Wheeler has targeted Boebert for years, and Boebert has had a restraining order against him since 2022.
Her spokesperson said the accusations came from “an activist who has long recycled sensational claims, including numerous baseless accusations previously fact-checked as false.”

Wheeler has previously admitted to “sloppy” research and “inaccuracies” in his work concerning Boebert.
House rules enacted following the #MeToo movement prohibit members of Congress from having sex with their own staffers.
Over the past year, there has also been a push to extend that prohibition to other staffers.
Wheeler filed his complaint Thursday with the House Ethics Committee.
It alleges that Boebert had flings with former district director Clarice Navarro Ratzlaff and two other staffers whom the filing implied were former chief of staff Jeffrey Small and current chief of staff Raven Finegan.
The complaint provides few details about the allegations involving Small and Finegan.
Navarro Ratzlaff and Small left Boebert’s office in 2025, while Finegan remains there.
Wheeler alleged that Boebert’s supposed relationship with Navarro Ratzlaff began in 2021 and continued through the former district director’s tenure.
Navarro Ratzlaff strongly denied the accusation, calling it “entirely false, defamatory, and beyond ridiculous. There is absolutely no truth to any part of this claim.”
Wheeler further alleged that their encounters occurred in campaign funded hotel rooms.
He also claimed Navarro Ratzlaff received a $200,000 payout in March of last year after threatening to file an ethics complaint.
According to Wheeler, his complaint relies on House disclosures and anonymous sources.
He said those sources possess text messages, court documents, recorded conversations, and bank records that support the accusations, though those materials were not detailed in the story.
WATCH:
Boebert previously drew national attention in 2023 after cameras caught her groping her now ex beau Quinn Gallagher, a registered Democrat, during a “Beetlejuice” performance in Denver.
The pair were removed from the venue after vaping and taking photos in violation of theater rules, and Boebert later apologized.
She went on to survive reelection in 2024.
Wheeler alleged that Boebert and Navarro Ratzlaff later had a “knock-down, drag-out and physical argument” at an Aspen bar owned by Gallagher because of frustrations over Boebert’s flirtations with him.
Wheeler claimed video existed of that alleged confrontation, but admitted he did not possess it.
Much of his complaint focuses on Navarro Ratzlaff despite her forceful denial.
The activist also alleged that Boebert and Navarro Ratzlaff had a “threesome” with former Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz.
Gaetz responded on X, “I am requesting that anyone with video of me in this alleged ‘threesome’ release said evidence IMMEDIATELY! Unedited, please.”

Boebert’s ex husband, Jayson, also rejected the allegations when contacted by American Muckrakers.
“I think it is all a fairy tale made up propaganda. I don’t believe any of that. Bad sources,” he said.
In 2022, Wheeler published claims that Boebert had previously worked as an escort, but critics slammed the report after it featured images of a woman who was not Boebert.
Wheeler later acknowledged errors, filed a defamation lawsuit against Boebert, and eventually reached a settlement with her.
