"Due to a serious security threat involving the safety of my fans, the venue staff, and my team, the incredibly difficult decision was made to cancel tonight’s show. This decision was made under the advisement of local authorities, the venue, and my security team," Langley wrote.
Langley said she followed guidance from local authorities, venue officials and her security team. She made clear that protecting those connected to the concert outweighed proceeding with the performance.
She also acknowledged the effort and expense involved for people planning to attend. "I know how much time, travel, money, and planning goes into coming to a show, and I can’t tell you how sorry I am. This is not a decision that was made lightly."
"I was so looking forward to spending tonight with you, but your safety will always mean more to me than anything else. I refuse to put anyone in harm’s way," her statement concluded.
The BOK Center, where the Tulsa concert was scheduled to take place, released its own statement Friday. The venue similarly emphasized that safety was the deciding factor behind the cancellation.
"The safety and well-being of everyone involved is our absolute priority, and after careful consideration, we have determined that the show cannot proceed."

"We understand the disappointment this news brings and apologize to fans who planned to attend. The safety of fans is our foremost concern and will always come first," the statement read.
The BOK Center’s official Instagram account said information about ticket refunds and other details would be shared as soon as possible. No additional timetable for that information was provided.
The Tulsa Police Department also issued an update on Facebook Friday. Police described precautions taken before the event and explained what investigators had found during their searches.
"As with any large event, the Tulsa Police Department goes to great lengths to ensure that it is safe for eventgoers and those coming to perform," the department said. It added that its K-9 unit, Bomb Team, Patrol and BOK security conducted a sweep for dangerous items and "did not find anything."

The department said it later learned of a call threatening people attending the performance. Police then conducted another search of the building and its surrounding area.
The department continued, "A call was made threatening the lives of people attending the event. Out of an abundance of caution, we swept the building and surrounding area and again found no credible threat to the event's safety."
"We advised the performer's staff that we found no credible threat to the event, but they decided to cancel the performance anyway," the account said.
The Tulsa Police Department said the incident remained under investigation. Fox News Digital contacted representatives for Langley and the BOK Center seeking additional comment.
Langley is currently headlining The Dandelion Tour in support of her second studio album, "Dandelion." The arena tour began May 7 in Toledo, Ohio, and later received an extension adding 21 dates.
At the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, Langley discussed releasing a series of singles and building momentum toward her sophomore album. The Tulsa cancellation came during the tour supporting that second studio release.
For people holding tickets to the canceled Tulsa performance, the BOK Center said refunds and further information would follow. Langley’s statement focused on her disappointment while maintaining that she would not risk the safety of fans, workers or her team.
