Selma Blair was arrested Sunday after she allegedly attacked crew members aboard Delta flight 938 as it traveled from Los Angeles to New York City, according to the report. Authorities responded after the aircraft reached John F. Kennedy International Airport.

New York Port Authority officials told Fox News Digital that PAPD responded at approximately 11 p.m. on Sunday, October 11. Their account said the flight had arrived from LAX and was already parked at its gate when authorities received the call.

"On Sunday, October 11 at approximately 11 pm at JFK Airport, PAPD responded to a call about a physically abusive passenger aboard Delta Airlines flight 938, which was parked at the gate after arrival from LAX," New York Port Authority officials confirmed.

Officials identified Blair as the suspect in a second statement. "Suspect was identified as Selma Blair, a 54-year-old woman. She was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for evaluation."

The official account placed Blair in custody following the response at the gate. She was then transported to a hospital for an evaluation, although the statement did not provide further information about that evaluation or her condition at that point.

A representative for Blair gave TMZ a statement addressing the episode. "Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition."

The representative characterized the situation as a medical emergency and said Blair was stable after receiving immediate care. The statement did not offer additional details about the nature of the emergency or describe the circumstances that preceded the alleged conduct.

Officials also confirmed that two flight attendants reported injuries following the incident. One of those crew members was transported to a hospital for further evaluation, while no additional information was provided about the attendants' conditions or the precise nature of their reported injuries.

Delta separately confirmed that law enforcement officials responded to an incident when the flight arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport. The airline said the aircraft had departed from Los Angeles earlier that day before completing its trip to New York.

"Delta has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first," Delta said in a statement addressing the incident.

The airline also said there was no operational impact to the flight. Despite the law enforcement response after its arrival, Delta flight 938 landed ahead of schedule at JFK, according to the information released by the company.

The authorities' description placed the response after the aircraft was parked at the gate, rather than while it was still traveling. The allegations concerned Blair's conduct aboard the flight, with crew members identified in the report as the people allegedly attacked.

The statements described two separate hospital transports connected to the episode. Blair was transported for evaluation after being taken into custody, while one flight attendant was taken for further evaluation after two crew members reported injuries.

Blair's representative addressed her condition through the statement provided to TMZ, saying she was stable. Fox News Digital reported that Blair's representatives did not immediately respond to its separate request for comment about the incident and allegations.

The official statements did not provide further details about what allegedly happened aboard the aircraft before it reached the gate.

They also did not disclose additional information about Blair's hospital evaluation or the evaluation of the injured flight attendant.

The report identified the matter as a developing story and said updates could follow. At the time of the report, Blair had been taken into custody and transported for evaluation, while Delta emphasized its policy against unruly or unlawful behavior aboard its flights.
