Lisa Marie Presley considered Michael Jackson the greatest lover she ever had, according to a blunt new claim from her close friend Roseanne Barr. The comedian shared the intimate allegation during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Asked whether Presley ever discussed her two-year marriage to Jackson, Barr offered an unfiltered answer. “She said he was the best lay she ever had.”

When the publication pressed Barr about whether she was lying, she insisted the claim was genuine. “No, I'm not.”

The Daily Mail reported that Barr then expanded on what Presley allegedly told her about Jackson and their private relationship. “She said he was the best lay and he had it going on. She said he told her all the things girls want to hear.”

The comedian also portrayed Presley as candid when discussing the famous people in her life. Barr said her friend spoke openly about her partners, including actor Nicolas Cage, and disclosed intimate details about those relationships.

“She never lied about s**t like that,” Barr said. She went on to describe Jackson as Presley's “number one” lover between the sheets.

Presley and Jackson were married from May 1994 until April 1996. Their marriage and physical relationship have continued to draw attention through comments attributed to Presley and accounts published by members of her family.

Priscilla Presley addressed the marriage in her memoir, Life After Elvis. She wrote that she was deeply unhappy about her daughter's decision to marry the controversial pop singer.

“I was appalled by the marriage,” Priscilla confessed in the book. She also recalled directly asking her daughter whether the relationship with Jackson had been physical.

“I asked her if they had a physical relationship,” Priscilla wrote. “Like so many people, I wasn't sure. She said yeah.”

Priscilla, who was married to Elvis Presley from 1967 to 1973 before his death in 1977, also questioned Jackson's intentions toward her daughter. She believed his interest extended beyond Lisa Marie herself.

“I knew in my bones that Michael wasn't marrying Lisa Marie; he was marrying the Presley dynasty,” she wrote. Priscilla also claimed Jackson wanted “good publicity” after he was accused of child molestation, allegations he vehemently denied.

According to Priscilla, her daughter believed Jackson was innocent. She also claimed that Jackson began contacting Lisa Marie during his child abuse scandal and had focused on her before Lisa Marie recognized his interest.

“Michael was a manipulative man, and I think he had his sights set on her long before she realized it,” Priscilla wrote. She added, “The childlike innocence he projected was part of his public mask.”

Lisa Marie offered her own account of the relationship in her memoir, From Here to the Great Unknown. She claimed the Thriller singer told her he was a virgin when they began dating.

“He told me he was still a virgin,” Lisa Marie wrote. She said Jackson told her that he had kissed Tatum O'Neal and had a connection with Brooke Shields that had not become physical beyond a kiss.

Lisa Marie also wrote that Jackson said Madonna had once tried to hook up with him, but nothing happened. Recalling the beginning of their physical relationship, Lisa Marie admitted, “I was terrified, because I didn't want to make the wrong move.”

Her account continued: “When he decided to first kiss me, he just did it. He was instigating everything.” She said she had thought they might wait until marriage before becoming physical.

“The physical stuff started happening, which I was shocked at,” Lisa Marie wrote. She said Jackson rejected the idea of waiting and told her, “I'm not waiting!”

Jackson died in 2009 at age 50 from a propofol overdose. Lisa Marie died in 2023 at age 54 from a small bowel obstruction, leaving the intimate accounts of their marriage to emerge through memoirs and the recollections of those close to her.
