Crystal Hefner is firing back at Jon Lovitz after the comedian mocked her description of him as the Playboy Mansion’s “No. 1 customer.” The widow of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner accused Lovitz of reflecting the attitudes she now condemns.

“I think Jon Lovitz is part of the problem,” Crystal, the host of the “After the Mansion” podcast, exclusively told Page Six. She said her criticism extends beyond Lovitz to other men who visited the notorious Los Angeles estate.

“I think many men who came up to that mansion [and] were very sexist and misogynistic are all part of that problem,” she said. The former Playmate, who is 40 years old, also spoke about challenging what she described as a damaging culture.

“If I could dismantle that toxic masculinity and patriarchy just a little bit, I will feel happy,” she added. “It’s very sad.”

Crystal also objected to Lovitz suggesting that Hugh’s financial generosity should prevent her from criticizing her late husband. She characterized that position as outdated and rejected the idea that accepting gifts or financial assistance required her continued silence.

“Jon Lovitz had mentioned to me that Hef had bought something for me or paid for something and that I have no reason to speak because of that,” she said. “I think his thinking is very outdated.”

“That’s really sad that, just because someone buys you something, it guarantees silence,” she continued. Her comments sharpened an already bitter exchange over the mansion, its visitors and the conduct she says she witnessed there.

The dispute followed Crystal calling Lovitz one of Hollywood’s “biggest pervs” and labeling him the Playboy Mansion’s “No. 1 customer.” Lovitz, 69, responded in a video obtained by Page Six that was filmed Tuesday night in Los Angeles.

“Any time someone says I’m No. 1, it’s a compliment,” the “Saturday Night Live” alum said. He also defended Hugh, who died in 2017 at age 91, by recalling his own experience with the magazine founder.

“Hugh Hefner was one of the nicest, most generous people I’ve ever met and all of his friends know it,” Lovitz said. He then closed his response by adding, “That’s all I have to say about that.”

Crystal, however, is not retreating from her broader criticism of some of the men who spent time at the mansion. She described certain visitors in stark terms and alleged that she possesses video evidence showing people sexually assaulting her friends.

“There were really horrific, horrible men that came through the mansion,” she told Page Six. Crystal also named Bill Cosby and President Donald Trump among the people her late husband surrounded himself with, describing them as “like-minded men.”

The podcast host said she wants people to recognize how power dynamics can affect women in relationships. She also emphasized why she believes speaking publicly about past experiences remains important, particularly when a powerful person’s influence can shape how those experiences are presented.

“Coercive control in a relationship is so real and it can throw you,” Crystal said. She further argued that Hugh’s power while alive and his relationship with the media affected the negative coverage he received.

“We also need people to know how powerful this man was when he was alive, that the media wanted this man in their pocket and so they didn’t really put out anything negative about Hef,” she said.

Her statements follow other recent critiques she has made about her late husband, including claims involving horrific sex acts, rape and incest. Crystal said she no longer fears discussing what she says occurred around her and other mansion residents.

“I’m not afraid anymore,” she told Page Six. “There were people that lived with me that were hurt, and I just think it’s not okay, and it’s a bad example to set for humanity moving forward.”
