Anyone who lives in a large city knows how common it is to see street performers showcasing their talents on the sidewalks.

From musicians to magicians, these artists bring life and culture to urban environments. However, it’s exceedingly rare to come across a street performer whose story and talent touch the hearts of so many.

Jonny Walker, a busker from the United Kingdom, experienced such a moment one cold winter night.

As he was performing his usual set, he encountered Bernard Davey, a homeless man with a surprising request. Bernard asked Jonny if he could join him in his performance.

"But I didn't know he was a singer, and as the years had gone by, his health and well-being seemed to have worsened a great deal."

During their spontaneous collaboration, the pair jammed to a version of "Summertime," a classic song that perfectly showcased Bernard's vocal abilities.

Jonny was so impressed by Bernard's voice that he asked a passerby to capture the moment on his camera phone.
