A video is going viral this week showing the incredibly talented Whangarei Academy of Dance and Performing Arts' senior group's showcase, and it will likely move you to tears!
The girls took the stage to perform to Leonard Cohen's moving song "Hallelujah," and their performance could not have been more powerful.

WADPA school aims to help students become better performers by focusing on their mental and emotional well-being.
"At WADPA dance school, we are all about dancing and encouraging the development of children. We offer classes that range from pre-school to young adult in a safe and supportive environment," the school said. "We are proud of the family-like environment at WADPA, encouraging everyone to follow their passion. We teach our classes with the aim to build up co-ordination, fitness, sense of rhythm, musicality and self-expression skills, but also life skills such as commitment and teamwork."
The girls spent months practicing this performance, and the results of their efforts was pure magic!

The girls mastered every move and moved together as one with grace and ease. Much of the crowd was in tears when the performance finally ended! I definitely hope that they ended up taking the top prize!
