Everyone who knows Katie Kelzenberg, a senior at the Stillwater High School in Oklahoma, knows that she loves Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson more than anybody else in the world. Not only has she followed his wrestling career closely, she also has most of the lines from his movies memorized!
Katie loves The Rock so much that she recently decided to do something drastic. Gathering up all her courage, she wrote the Hollywood star a letter asking if he would go to prom with her! Katie was never expecting a response from him, but then she got the surprise of her life...
Katie was sitting in class one day when the afternoon announcements came on the loudspeaker, just like they do every other day. However, Katie immediately noticed that the person speaking was a voice that she knew all too well.
Sure enough, it was Dwayne! It turns out that after receiving Katie's letter, Dwayne personally reached out to the Stillwater High administration and secretly recorded the afternoon announcements. After greeting the entire school, Dwayne shifted to Katie and mentioned her by name! Katie almost believed that she was dreaming, as she could not believe what she was hearing.
Dwayne explained that he unfortunately could not attend her prom because of scheduling conflicts, but he had another very special surprise for her in store! Find out what that surprise was in the video below!
