A resurfaced interview involving actress Anna Kendrick, combined with new allegations from Ruby Rose, has brought renewed attention to claims involving pop star Katy Perry, as reported by Page Six.
Kendrick’s remarks date back to a 2014 appearance on Conan, where she described an encounter with Perry at the Grammy Awards. During the interview, Kendrick recounted what she called a “weird” interaction with the singer.
“Katy Perry finger-banged my cleavage. It was a weird night,” Kendrick said during the interview.
Katy Perry is dragged into fresh controversy as an old Anna Kendrick video has gone viral again, bringing past claims back into discussion online.

Host Conan O'Brien asked Kendrick to elaborate on the moment, questioning whether such behavior was typical.
Kendrick, who was wearing a plunging Azzaro gown at the time of the Grammys event, responded that her outfit may have contributed to the situation.
“If nobody had done it, I would’ve been a little sad,” she said.
When asked to further describe the encounter, Kendrick said she had met Perry before and characterized her demeanor.

The interview resurfaced as Perry faces a separate allegation from actress Ruby Rose, who posted claims on Threads over the weekend.
Rose alleged that an incident involving Perry took place years ago at a nightclub in Melbourne, Australia.
“Katy Perry sexually assaulted me at Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a s – – t what she thinks,” Rose wrote.
Rose described the alleged encounter in graphic terms and said she later downplayed the situation publicly.
“After it, I threw up on her. I told the story publicly but changed it to be a ‘funny little drunk story’ because I didn’t know how else to handle it,” she wrote.
“Later, she agreed to help me get my US visa. So I kept it a secret. But I DID tell y'all she wasn’t a good person,” Rose added.
In a follow-up message, Rose said, “Though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes. Thank you for seeing me.”

A representative for Katy Perry denied the allegations in a statement provided to Page Six.
“The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous, reckless lies,” the representative said.
“Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named,” the statement continued.
Following the denial, Perry posted a message on her Instagram Stories.
“I love you,” she wrote, alongside an image referencing her 2013 song “By the Grace of God.”
The resurfaced Kendrick interview and Rose’s allegations have both drawn attention online, with neither Kendrick nor Perry publicly commenting further on the renewed focus.
Representatives for both Perry and Kendrick have been contacted but did not immediately respond, according to reports.
