If you've ever been in a Cracker Barrel restaurant, you know that all the restaurants in this chain offer the same theme and consistently good food regardless of the location. It has an old-timey atmosphere that most of us love.
But even if you are a regular visitor, there are likely things that you probably have never noticed about all of the locations.
There are certain things that every single location has in common.
For example, every single location has walls that are decorated to enhance the country charm.
There are tons of things scattered across the walls. But did you know that all of them have the exact same items in the exact same locations?
Every location has an antique ox yoke and a horseshoe over the front door.

When walking up to the door, you'll see a row of rocking chairs to relax in while you're waiting for your spot inside.

The chairs are all handmade in the U.S., and are all for sale.
Outside of every bathroom in a Cracker Barrel is a traffic light too.
You'll also find an oversized checkerboard set up on top of a cracker barrel.
It's a throwback to the days where patrons would stand around the barrel munching and having small talk.

According to Cracker Barrel, each store has some 1,000 decor items. Can you just imagine having to figure out where they all go when a new location is opened?
Not only can you buy some of the decor and treats in the store at Cracker Barrel, but you can buy many of them online at their website. Who knew?

We went to the cracker barrel for years and spent over 500 dollars a month, but they had to get invoved in the poilitcal arena on movements that I could not accept, just like they did with Duck Dynasty a few years back. They need to stick with cooking good food and leave the other things alone..We’ve not been back to the cracker barrel in almost a year now and want be back until they get their thinking straight.
We travelled from Toronto, to Florida. Then on to Yuma, stopping overnight at Cracker Barrels. We would ask the manager if it was ok for our 40 ft RV trailing our Ford Edge. Managers were all good. We had evening meal and Breakfast every day down and across the US
Again, we crossed the US from California to Sarnia Canada stopping at Cracker barrels for breakfast and evening meal! This time were not impressed at Cracker Barrel CB00074 Anderson Indiana! The breakfast was the worst we had ever had at Cracker Barrel. The bacon was dry and looked a week old! The eggs were cold and the service a bit slow. I asked for the manager (who was cordial) so I offered him constructive comment. I mentioned the breakfast was very poor and the bacon was old dry and cold. He offered to take care of the bill, I said I was not looking for freebees but service! I spoke to another employee who told me they started cooking the bacon a different way and had many complaints but no one listened! Cracker Barrel need to address this issue or lose custom! We will look more closely in future and NOT pay for another meal of this calibre.
All Cracker Barrels we see are next to or close to a major Highway. They are clean, food is good. We have eaten at most across and up and down the USA
Don’t think this is currently accurate. What I’ve seen lately shows images of that cities sites & sounds.
