Royce White is arguing that advances in military technology have changed not only how wars are fought, but also how men understand courage, risk and strength, tying those changes to what he sees as broader cultural shifts inside the United States.

White said modern warfare allows combatants to strike from great distances, removing much of the direct personal risk that historically accompanied battle.

“Everybody's badass when you can press a button and blow somebody up,” White said.

He compared remote warfare to gun violence carried out from a distance in American neighborhoods, arguing that both involve the ability to cause harm without direct confrontation.

“I mean, that's you know, and in that way, it's really no different than a young black man who is extremely misguided, getting a hold of a gun in a neighborhood and shooting at one of his ops and accidentally hitting a little girl doing homework in her in her dining room,” White said.

White said the underlying principle is similar because technology and weapons allow people to inflict violence without facing an opponent directly.

“Everybody's a badass when you can remote bomb somebody from a world away,” he said.

He contrasted that with earlier eras of warfare.

“You know, we lost something when you had to ride into battle on a horse with a sword,” White said.

White questioned whether technological advancements have actually made warfare safer overall, despite allowing soldiers to fight from greater distances.

“It's like we're going to modernize warfare, and less people are going to die. Did less people die? I'm not so sure,” White said.

He acknowledged that modern warfare has not produced another conflict on the scale of the world wars but argued that technological progress can produce other consequences that are harder to measure.

“But there's hidden consequences to modernization, to technological advancement. Hidden consequences, the law of unintended consequences,” White said.

White then connected those developments to his broader argument about masculinity, saying men became softer as warfare became less physically direct.

“One of the one of the you know unintended consequences that man kind of softens as we as we advanced our technology and war became safer for men, men softened,” White said.

He linked that change to the growth of feminist culture, which he strongly criticized.

“and we proliferated a feminist culture that aborted 2.5 billion people worldwide, 45 years,” White said.

White questioned whether changes in warfare, masculinity and social values are more connected than people are willing to acknowledge.

“Are you sure that the softening of men because of the advancement of technology and warfare doesn't play a role in our willingness to let women lead,” White said.

He continued by arguing that radical feminism has done more internal damage to the United States than foreign enemies.

“All powerful feminism has done to America what the Taliban, what the Soviet Union, what the Viet Cong, what uh, you know- the Japanese, the Germans, Mussolini- radical feminism, radical feminism has done to America what none of our enemies have been able to do-and that should tell us something about our priorities, especially when it comes to foreign policy,” White said.

White said domestic cultural problems and foreign policy cannot be separated.

“The global affects the local, and vice versa,” he said.

He described the country’s internal condition in stark terms and accused Democrats of destroying democratic institutions.

“And we have a problem right here at home-a profound problem right here at home-that really can't be quantified, other than to say the ass is falling off the donkey. Democracy is dead. The Democrats are killing it. They killed it, and they like to beat a dead horse,” White said.

White also criticized former President Barack Obama over comments supporting greater female leadership in government.

“I mean, when Barack Obama has the audacity to go up on stage and say we should give government to women, as if things will be better, in a string of weeks where several women have murdered their own children. I mean, they're just right up in your face with it,” White said.

He concluded by turning the discussion back toward his own willingness to enter political leadership and questioning how voters judge different candidates.

“And you'll see a guy like me who says, 'I'm willing to do what needs to be done. You'll go, "Nah, we don't need another black guy to be president. But you voted for that one. You know, some of you out there voted for that black guy to be president."
