Actor Robert De Niro is attacking President Donald Trump again, this time by promoting claims that Trump and the Supreme Court are trying to strip Americans of their voting rights. His latest broadside comes through a video packed with alarm, accusations, and profanity, as reported by Breitbart.
De Niro appears in the video for Hands Off Our Vote, a far-left activist organization warning about the Trump administration’s election policies. The group has been fearmongering over administration efforts aimed at identifying and ending fraud in American elections.

The actor turns the rhetoric up immediately, declaring that there is “no fucking way” he will permit Trump to take away Americans’ votes. The video offers De Niro an extended platform to portray voting rights as being under assault.
“Voting is a constitutional right, but you have to see that this administration and the Supreme Court aren’t paying any attention to our constitutional rights,” the Goodfellas actor says in the video.
De Niro then presents voting as a straightforward civic choice before moving into a string of political attacks. “Voting should be easy. You decide who you like and cast your ballot. Simple, right?” he says.
He follows that question by describing one set of candidates in deliberately inflammatory terms. “For example, if you want to elect politicians to prop up a would-be king who gets us into a disastrous war and corruptly profits from it, you can find them,” he exclaimed.
The actor offers an equally charged description of the opposing political choice. “Or, if you prefer candidates who won’t cut your healthcare and won’t protect pedophiles, there are great choices there, too,” he said, without supplying proof for those accusations.

De Niro continues by urging people to use their votes to confront the scenario he lays out. His argument casts the ballot not merely as a constitutional right, but as an individual source of political power that unnamed forces supposedly want to seize.
“You get to decide. That’s your right. That’s your superpower. But there’s a catch,” he says. He then adds, “There are some powerful people who want to take away that power.”
The actor follows that warning with the video’s bluntest message. “This is Robert De Niro, and I’ve got a message for them: no fucking way,” he exclaimed, delivering the profanity as his answer to the alleged threat.
De Niro also describes a campaign unfolding through both legal action and public demonstrations. “We’re fighting them in the courts and standing up to them in the streets,” he says in the video.

That declaration amounts to an embrace of lawfare and street protests against the political direction chosen by the 77,303,568 million voters who voted to put Trump in the White House. De Niro presents those tactics as part of the campaign to resist the forces he accuses of interfering with voting.
Hands Off Our Vote appears to have developed from the “Hands Off” protests held last year. The organization is funded by partisan groups on the left, according to the source, connecting De Niro’s video to a broader activist network.
Those organizations include Greepeace, the AFL-CIO, the American Federation of Government Employees, Planned Parenthood, the Democratic Socialists of America, and the 50501 Movement. The list also includes other groups described by the source as extremist organizations.
De Niro closes by calling on viewers who share his anger to become involved. He concludes by insisting, “if you’re as furious as I am at all these thugs who are messing with our votes, find out what more you can do.”
