A hilarious story is going viral this week of a farmer who finds out that he has one very clever rooster on his hands!

The farmer had 200 hens and no rooster, and since he wanted chicks, he decided to head down the road to the next farmer to see if he could buy a rooster. The neighbor farmer told him, “Yeah, I’ve got this great rooster, named Randy. He’ll service every chicken you got, no problem.”

Though the rooster cost a lot of money, the farmer decided he was worth it and bought him. When they got home, he told the rooster  “Randy, I want you to pace yourself now. You’ve got a lot of chickens to service here, and you cost me a lot of money. Consequently, I’ll need you to do a good job. So, take your time and have some fun."

Randy took off as soon as the farmer pointed out the hen house, nailing every hen in the hen house three or four times, much to the farmer's surprise!

The farmer then hears a sound in the duck pen, and when he goes down there to check it out, he sees Randy is after a flock of geese! Before long, he gets all the geese just as he did with the hens!

By the end of the day, Randy was chasing quails and pheasants, and the farmer feared that his expensive rooster wouldn't even last 24 hours. His worst fears were confirmed the next morning, when he saw Randy laying dead in the middle of the yard as buzzards circled over him.

“Oh, Randy, I told you to pace yourself," the farmer told him. "I tried to get you to slow down, now look what you’ve done to yourself.”

Randy opened one eye, looked up at the buzzards circling in the sky, and said, “Shhh, they’re getting closer"
