Simon Cowell is known for being one of the most difficult judges to please when it comes to reality television competitions. That's why it came as such a surprise when this teacher completely blew Simon away!

When devoted teacher Danyl Johnson auditioned for "The X Factor" back in 2009, his timing could not have been worse. Moments before he took the stage, Simon had a meltdown in which he complained about the lack of talent he had seen so far, and he even called the entire day a “waste of time.”

Simon just had one more audition left to sit through, and he looked visibly irritated when Danyl took the stage. However, his bad attitude immediately disappeared when the 27 year-old teacher started to sing "With A Little Help From My Friends,” by The Beatles!

The audience was going crazy for Danyl before he was even a minute into his performance, and the judges were transfixed by him as well!

“When we see a performance like that, it’s the absolute perfect audition,” said judge Dannii Minogue.

“I’ve been doing this for how many years? Eight, nine years?” Simon asked rhetorically. “Okay, Danyl, that was, single-handedly, the best first audition I have ever heard.”
