The debate over whether women should be able to breastfeed their children in public spaces has persisted for years, igniting passionate discussions and divided opinions.
A new voice has recently joined the conversation, making her stance clear in a way that has garnered both support and criticism.
This young mother, Trinati, has taken a bold step to highlight the importance and normalcy of breastfeeding in public. Trinati, who is a mother of a 17-month-old daughter, firmly believes that her child's needs take precedence over societal judgments and discomfort.
She makes it a point to breastfeed her daughter whenever and wherever necessary, regardless of the setting.
For many nursing mothers, the challenge lies in the fact that babies do not adhere to social norms or schedules when it comes to feeding. "People who nurse their babies know that when they are hungry, the babies don’t care where they are or what time it is," Trinati explains.
While some mothers might feel uncomfortable breastfeeding in public, Trinati does not share this sentiment. Instead, she sees it as a necessary act to ensure her child's well-being.
Despite her comfort with public breastfeeding, she often encounters resistance and discomfort from those around her. Trinati recounts instances where people have given her strange looks or even suggested she use broom closets to feed her baby, under the guise of providing her with a "comfortable" space.
She strongly opposes these suggestions, highlighting that such spaces are far from suitable for feeding an infant.

Fed up with the criticism and judgment, Trinati decided to take a stand. She had her son take a photo of her breastfeeding her daughter in a Costco store, aiming to make a powerful statement about public breastfeeding. "I never shy away from providing my children with what they may need from me based on our surroundings," she asserts.
The backlash she faces is not limited to strangers. Trinati's friends and family often question her about how long she plans to continue breastfeeding. They make uncomfortable jokes, implying she might still be breastfeeding her daughter when she starts kindergarten. Trinati responds firmly, "As long as she needs me to!"
Trinati is frustrated with the misconceptions and jokes about her parenting choices. She addresses the sexualization of breastfeeding, saying, "Really? Have you SEEN breastfeeding breasts? My nipples are very far from looking like something someone may fantasize about! Ha!"
She further explains, "These are basically udders right now. Get over yourself! I’m not trying to steal your man or lady with these bad girls! To me, they have become so far from feeling like a sexual part of my body. Right now they belong to my child for nourishment, both physically and emotionally."
Through her candid remarks, Trinati seeks to dispel the notion that breastfeeding is in any way sexual. She emphasizes that breastfeeding is purely about feeding and comforting a child. "I don’t expect all men or those who have never breastfed to understand the ways in which mothers have the endurance to deal with nipple-pinching or straight-up acrobatics while breastfeeding," she explains, sharing her experiences of receiving strange glances and awkward giggles when people witness her daughter breastfeeding in unconventional positions.
The photo taken at Costco serves as a testament to the lengths mothers go to in ensuring their children's well-being. "I had my son take that photo of us in Costco because I never want to forget (and [I want to] show my daughter in the future) the lengths we, as mothers, will go to when ensuring our kids are well looked after no matter the situation," Trinati says.
Her Instagram post, accompanied by this photo, carries a powerful message: "My baby’s needs come waaaaaay before anyone else’s attempts to make me feel inappropriate for this sometimes-public act of nourishing and/or comforting my children."
Through her actions and words, Trinati hopes to convey a critical message to her children and society at large. She wants her kids to understand that she will always prioritize their needs over other people's opinions.
Her stance is a call for greater acceptance and support for public breastfeeding, urging society to recognize it as a natural and essential act of motherhood.
Trinati's story sheds light on the ongoing challenges faced by nursing mothers and the need for societal change. Her bold actions and unapologetic stance serve as an inspiration for other mothers facing similar scrutiny.
By normalizing public breastfeeding, she aims to create a more supportive and understanding environment for all mothers and their children.

👏👏👏 Kudos to you ! Keep on providing what your child needs and ignore the fools that object to a loving and devoted mother caring for her child. Sadly, America is filled with a lot of ignorant people, and thus the explanation of how a Donald Trump becomes President. (We CAN’T let that happen again ! )
