Nikki Webster was 34 years-old when she hit her highest weight of over 600 pounds. By that point, she was struggling just to take care of herself, and she knew that she needed to make a serious change.

“My weight is debilitating. My body is so painful; I hate it. But I say this to myself: ‘Food is an addiction to me and my addiction is killing me,'" Nikki said.

While appearing on the show "My 600 Pound Life," Nikki agreed to move from Arizona to Texas so she could be treated by renowned weight loss expert Dr. Younan Nowzaradan. Nikki was hoping weight loss surgery would be an easy fix for her situation, but Nowzaradan told her that she would need to lose at least 50 pounds for surgery to even be a possibility.

Nikki was so determined to change her life that she lost 50 pounds in just three months, and she was soon approved for gastric bypass surgery. However, this presented a new set of problems for Nikki, as she realized she was also terrified of the surgery itself.

“Earlier this year, my best friend Michael had a gastric bypass, and he died. That haunts me," she admitted.

Nikki bravely went ahead with the surgery, and she lost 207 pounds in just one year. While many people end up gaining the weight back, Nikki went to see a therapist to get to the root of her eating problems so that they would never return. Since the beginning of her journey, Nikki has lost an astounding 455 pounds and counting!

Today, Nikki is happy and healthy at 192 pounds. To this day, she works out regularly and watches what she eats, as she knows that she must embrace a healthier lifestyle to keep the pounds from coming back.
