Although Bella is a typical 11 year-old girl, she suffers from a rare genetic condition called Morquio Syndrome. She is a normal and enthusiastic teen despite the struggles that she endured earlier in her years because of her medical condition.

When Bella was first diagnosed, doctors warned her and her family that she would soon lose the ability to walk. As Bella sank into a deep depression, her family looked into getting her a service dog in the hopes of bringing up her spirits.

That's when everything turned around for Bella...

Today, Bella is inseparable from her beloved service dog George!

With George's help, Bella is now able to walk wherever she pleases, and she decided to show her gratitude to him with the help of BarkPost. The organization teamed up with Bella to create a "Dog's Best Day" for George that was jam packed with activities that every canine would love! This allowed George to be celebrated for all the work he does to help Bella every single day.

Were it not for George, Bella would be in a wheelchair right now, unable to walk, and likely would have become even more depressed. Thanks to him, she is happy as can be and living life to the fullest!
