When a couple sets out to adopt a child, they typically only want newborn babies. That's why the older a child gets in the foster care system, the less likely it is that they will ever find a forever home. Things are even worse if these children are put into the foster system with their siblings, as the odds of finding a family that wants to take them all together are incredibly slim.

In this story, we meet four siblings from Kansas - Alisia, 17; Bradley, 16; Cody, 15 and Emma, 11. These sisters and brothers who endured abuse their whole lives was running out of hope that a family would want to adopt all of them together. That's when they got the surprise of their lives from a Christian couple!

Eric and Phyllis Watson accepted all four siblings after they were approved to be foster parents.

As the youth director of Faith Baptist Church in Olathe, Kansas, Eric Watson believes that “God’s hand has been all through this process.” Eric and his wife, Phyllis originally had very different plans about how they wanted to handle adopting children.

"We were thinking one foster child at a time. Maybe two? We weren’t thinking four at once," they said.

However, their feelings changed as soon as they learned about these four siblings. Without hesitating, Eric and Phyllis shockingly asked to adopt ALL four of them together!

The adoption was finalized last week, and District Judge Kathleen Sloan could not help but burst into tears when she saw how happy the Watsons and their new children were. Ordinarily, judges have to remain impartial and unemotional during their court cases, but Judge Sloan was deeply moved by the perfect ending for this family.

Now, these four siblings know that they will be together forever and no longer have any fear of being split up by the system. SHARE this story if it warms your heart as well!
